Dr. Ulrich Möllenhoff studied law and English at Münster University. He qualified in 1998. He holds a doctorate in comparative law in the area of export control.
He did his Ph.D. in Münster with a research stay at Durham University. The title of his thesis was: A comparison between the customs law and law of export control of the United Kingdom and the European legal frame work especially in relation to exports of Dual Use Goods. In 2001 he became an Accredited Tax Lawyer.
Before he founded this firm he worked for a Grant Thornton firm. His main areas of practice are Tax law, Law of Customs and Excise and Export Control. In addition to that he specialises in international private law especially in international law of contract and international family law. He is experienced in transborder–prenuptial agreements.
Because he spent half a year working in an English law firm and because he frequently assists members of the British Forces in Germany he also specialises in Military law and Military Criminal law defence. He represents clients in court martial proceedings as well as when they are being interviewed by the Royal Military Police and the Special Investigation Branch.
